Description[]
Parsley Botch is a businessman, and son of Jimothan Botch, who can be found in the Carnival. Awkward and uneasy, his anxiety about seeing his father has caused him to not eat for days. He seems to have come from a harrowing household, as he has a poor relationship with both of his parents, most notably his father, who pressures Parsley to become involved with sports and women. Jimothan describes him as "soft."
Despite all of this, he loves his father's "food," and his mission requires Jimothan's to be completed beforehand. When completed, he can be found in the Lounge, getting drunk.
If he is not made happy, he appears at "The Big Event," and his head will be replaced with a meal on a plate.

Trivia[]
- When you kiss him, he says that it tastes like "Martin", but quickly corrects himself to say "martinis".
- Martin was revealed to be a real person in Parsley's Steam trading card, "Late Date". With the card's description including a mention of him trying to be on-time for his date with Martin, and shows him carrying several valentines and love letters sporting his name.
- Moreover, during the blind drawing livestream with Team Egg, it was joked about that Martin is Parsley's ex-husband, though this was said largely in jest.
- According to the Smile For Me art book, Parsley's design was created in "under two minutes" while on a phone call with Day, as Yugo felt challenged creating a businessman character that was still visually interesting, and created him spontaneously as a character design exercise.
- It is also noted that Yugo was surprised by Parsley's popularity, saying, "I was so sure people wouldn't like him because of his design."
- His name comes from the herb "parsley" and his surname is a pun on the word "botched".
- Curiously, in a screenshot on the game's Steam store page, Parsley (along with Putunia and Gerry) have their places swapped, with Parsley standing in front of the button-pressing game where Putunia is usually seen. In the trailer, however, he is standing by the burning tires like in-game.
- Parsley's favorite superhero is most likely Spiderman, according to Dr. Habit's twitter. [1]
- In a photo posted on Dr. Habit's twitter, it's revealed that Parsley is "tall". [2]
- Yugo claims that he smells like "sweat and instant coffee". [3]
- His suit is also covered in coffee stains, but because of his suit's dark color, you can't tell they're there.
- When asked on Tumblr about Parsley's music taste, it was revealed that Parsley is a fan of New Wave music. His favorite artists include Talking Heads, David Byrne, Oingo Boingo, The Buggles, and DEVO. [4]

- He is in his early to mid-thirties.
- In the epilogue, it is revealed that Parsley has received letters and drawings from fans; initially, he is extremely concerned and threatens to sue, but after seeing more fanart he becomes moved to the point of tears.
